Instead of using a full season of stats, the game will pick a random stat day from the season and load all the stats for all the games for that day into the game. Managers will be able to see what stat date was loaded on their game results page. Once a stat day is used it will not be used again.
So for example, if Alex Rodriguez played in a 150 games last year, he will NOT begin the Winter BBM season with the 150 game stat pool. The game will pick 15 random days to start, load stats for those days and then add a random day to the game each day thereafter. So if a player sat out a month because of an injury and the game runs games from one day in that month, then the player will not get a stat on that day. The player's stat pool may eventually run out if he didn't play too many games during the season, and you will need to replace him with another player. Fun? Yup. Challenging? Unquestionably.
Just like in regular BBM, you will see a * next to a player's name when a stat is pulled from the stat pool. If a player played on the night which stats were drawn, then he will get that "live" stat, and an * will not appear.
Since managers have to go through a draft and preseason, all teams will start with at least 15 days worth of stats in their stat pool. That way most players will be eligible to play once your season starts.
