How do I set my lineups?

There are two types of lineups: standard and upcoming.  Your standard lineup is the one that will be used automatically by the game computer unless you direct otherwise by setting your upcoming lineup. The upcoming lineup screen allows you to set lineups for both tomorrow's game and the next day's game. You cannot set the lineup for tonight's game on the same day of the game. To set your lineups, click your team name from the home page, then on the team page you will see the 'set batting lineups' link and you can select either standard lineups or upcoming lineups.  This will bring you to a screen where each position is listed with a player's name next to it.

For Lightning and Winter leagues, there is one standard lineup.  For Ultimate leagues, there are two: one standard lineup for use against left-handed starting pitchers, and one for use against right-handed starting pitchers.

In the window next to each position, click the button on the right and it opens a drop-down menu of all active players on your roster with starts remaining at a particular position. To insert a starter in the lineup, highlight the player you wish to play that position.  After you have done this for each position, make sure that no player is selected to play more than one position in that lineup and hit the 'Save Lineups' button to make those changes take effect.

To set your 'Upcoming' lineup click on the 'Upcoming' link next to 'Set Batting Lineups' on your BBM homepage. This will bring you to a screen where two lineups can be set, the lineup for tomorrow's game and the lineup for the next day's game (the day after tomorrow).  At the bottom of these lineups for each day you can see who your pitcher will be, who your opponent will be, who your opponent's pitcher will be, and, for Ultimate leagues, the handedness of that pitcher.

The players listed at each position will be the ones you previously designated as your standard lineup.  To change that day's lineup from the standard, follow the same procedure as described above for standard lineups.
