How do I play?

Winter BBM consists of a 162 game season and is played during the off-season. It is similar to other BBM games, except the way stats are used. Instead of using a full season of stats, the game will pick a random stat day from the season and load all the stats for all the games for that day into the game. Managers will be able to see what stat date was loaded on their game results page.  Once a stat day is used it will not be used again. All leagues will use the same stat day.

Starting in 2004, Winter BBM will run 3 game results/day. You will see new results at 6am, 12pm, 6pm ET.

Since managers have to go through a draft and preseason, all teams will start with at least 15 days worth of stats in their stat pool. That way most players will be eligible to play once your season starts.

There is no DL in Winter BBM: all players are active. However keep in mind that if your player was on the DL for a portion of the season, you will not get as many stats from him.

If a player was traded betweeen leagues during the season, he will appear as eligible in BOTH leagues. He will not have a full season worth of stats, and you do not know when he will receive stats during the Winter season as they are loaded from random days.
