Not really. BBM uses your relievers in the order you select so it does not choose a closer when the game enters the 9th inning. Games are not "played" like regular baseball so BBM would have no idea when to use a closer or a when to use a set-up man.
What matters are a pitcher’s ERA and the number of innings he pitches. So, a good closer with an ERA is better than a regular RP with a bad ERA but it does not matter that he was a closer in real ball. In fact, many veteran BBM managers would prefer a good set-up man with a low ERA to a true closer with a good ERA simply because the set-up man pitches more innings. And in BBM that is important because there’s nothing worse than losing a game because you were penalized for running out of relief pitchers.
